Travel from the East

You are travelling from the EAST and are driving on the A2 motorway (Berlin - Hannover - Dortmund):

• leave the motorway at exit 35 Bad Eilsen;
• at the end of the long motorway exit, turn left at the traffic light and follow the dual carriageway B 83 (towards Bückeburg) around Bückeburg, until the ring road joins the B 65 after a sharp right turn (8 km);
• follow the dual carriageway B 65 (towards Minden), until you come to the Meissen exit. Here, turn right (4 km);
• then take a left turn onto the B 482 (towards Nienburg) and continue northwards along the Weser until Lahde (18 km);
• once level with the thermal power station, turn right onto the L 770 (towards Petershagen / Espelkamp / Osnabrück);
• follow the L 770 westwards (crossing the Weser) until you reach the turn-off for Rahden / Tonnenheide (22 km);
• here, turn right onto the L 802, the “Mindener Postweg” and drive until the end of the road in Tonnenheide (3 km);
• in Tonnenheide, turn left onto the L 765, the “Mindener Straße” (towards Rahden) and drive to the part of town called Stelle (2.1 km), until you see the guest house “Ulmenhof” on your right;
• straight after the car park of the guest house, turn right into the lane “Auf dem Witting”;
• follow the lane for 200 m, until the butcher’s shop “Hofmann” appears on your left;
• straight after the shop, turn left and leave Stelle;
• follow the narrow lane westwards (crossing the Kleine Aue after about 600 m and passing the Wasserwerk) until it ends (1 km);
• now turn right into the “Stellerloh”, after 300 m you will see the house (Nr. 65) on your right.
